About Us

The unit of communication skills was established by a decision of His Highness the director of university No 10809/s, dated 5/7/1427 AH. It was a positive step in the path of development of the university education, and it is related to the daily and practical life.

The university Board approved, at its third meeting for the academic year 1429/1430 AH, held on 28/03/1430 AH, to turn the unit of the communication skills into a separate department under the name of the Department of Communication Skills. Then, the Board of Higher Education has agreed, in its (fifty-sixth) session, held on 22/10/1430 AH, after the Boardreviewed the note of the General Secretariat of the Board,and adopted its decision (7/56/1430) to turn (the unit ofthe communication skills), in faculty of Arts and Humanities into the department under the name of (Department of Communication Skills). Then the consent of the custodian of the two holy mosques, the chairman of the Board of higher education, and the prime minister–Allah may protect him-is issued on the minutes of meeting by the guidance No. 9353 / mb dated 14/11/1430 AH.
